The Annual Pride Parade It personifies our diversity by featuring colorful bands, floats, and specialty troupes, while bringing together organizations of service, politics, youth, schools and churches. From noon to 1:00 pm all of these folks “strut their stuff” through town, with enthusiasm, gusto, sincerity and just plain good fun. It's a party given by NHC, but the invitation is open to all.
During that week an estimated 15,000 visitors will line our area's pathways and many will experience a stay at our Inns, Hotels and B&B's - some for their annual return to be a part of the festivities and some for the first time ever.

Detailed Parade Route Map
Parade Reviewing Stages
The general public can view the Parade anywhere along the route. Announcers will be
located at these three staging locations and announce parade participants as they go by.
Located at the Lambertville House,
Located at the Cannon on Main St. New Hope, Pa in front of the Logan Inn on Ferry Street.
Located across the Street from John & Peters.
Parade participants here is where to go.
Vehicles & Floats (Parade Area A)
Vehicles & Floats should report to Diamond Silver Building located on Arnett Avenue, just off Main Street in Lambertville, NJ.
Once the vehicles are lined up (approximately 11:10 they will proceed down Rt. 29 to Delevan Street.
vehicles will turn right onto Delevan and hold their position until the parade begins at 11:30am
Non Vehicles & Marchers (Parade Area B)
All non-vehicles will line up on Yourk St. and hold their position until the parade begins at 11:30am
The Parade will begin with the vehicles coming down Union Street toward York where the non-vehicle/marchers will merge to from the complete parade. Their will be Parade Directors along the route to guide you.
The Parade will cross the bridge to New Hope, turning on to Main Street and proceeding to the end of the parade at Waterloo Street. Parade participants will then make their way on to New Street where everyone will disburse.

Here are some important details you and your group need KNOW!
SET-UP & OPERATIONS:
All parade participants are to check in at the appropriate Parade Registration table at one of the two staging areas. Upon check in, you will be given your parade number and be directed to your spot. Set-up can continue until approximately 11:15 am.
Please note that any outstanding payments are due at the time of registration. All members of your group will also be required to sign a waiver in order to participate in the parade - please have this completed in advance and submit at check in.
Note: If you have a vehicle that will be with your group, they must report to the
VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND STAGING AREA (vacant lot):
Registration is at the Diamond Silver Building located at Arnett and Main Streets.
From Lambertville: Go North on Rt 29 (Main Street) and turn left onto Arnett Street.
From New Hope via the toll Bridge: Cross the toll bridge and take the exit to Lambertville.
Turn RIGHT at the bottom of the exit ramp toward Lambertville and follow Rt 29 (Main Street) and turn RIGHT onto Arnett Street (Diamond Silver Building)
Check in times 10-11. IF YOU ARRIVE AFTER 11am
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE.
Upon check in you will be given your parade number and directed to your staging area on the access road. Once the vehicles are lined up, they will be escorted down Route 29 to Delevan Street. Vehicles will be held on Delevan Street until the parade begins at 11:30. NOTE: The vacant lot is a grassy lot so please use caution.
Our volunteers will not be onsite until 930-10am. If you need to arrive early for set up, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
If you have people that will be joining you to walk, please have them meet at the NON-VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND STAGING AREA (York): Registration is at the corner of Union and York Streets. Upon registration you will be given your parade number and directed to your staging area on York Street. Check in times: 10:15 – 11:15. Please stay in your spot until instructed to move forward – we will be merging the vehicles and non-vehicles at the intersection of York and Union and we need your cooperation in order for this to happen smoothly.
The majority of parade participants should plan on parking in new hope. There is extremely limited parking due to road closures caused by the parade. You should not plan on parking in Lambertville.
Info on New Hope Parking: (remember there will be no parking on Bridge St or at the Bucks County Parking lot due to the parade and festival)
We recommend that larger groups meet in the high school lot, leave a vehicle and carpool over (think tubing!). Reminder that the high school does charge $10 per car and this is a donation to the high school.
If you are reporting to the York Street Staging Area: Any groups walking in the parade should also park in New Hope and walk across the bridge to the registration area in Lambertville at the corner of Union and York Streets.
- ADDITIONAL INFORMATION -
Participants are responsible for the removal of their own trash/garbage.
Participants are expected to abide by all applicable New Hope Borough and Commonwealth of PA laws. We look forward to each parade participant acting with dignity and respect toward all they may encounter along the parade route.
Since this is an open grate bridge, please use extra caution when crossing. It is not recommended that you wear high heels while crossing the bridge. If you have animals or anyone who cannot safely cross the bridge, let parade organizers know so we can arrange for them to join in PA. Motorcycle/scooter drivers - you will need to wear your helmets until you reach PA.
The NHC Pride Planning Committee and New Hope Borough Police Department, in order to hold a safe event, controls the speed of parade vehicles, number of units and prohibits the throwing of candy and other objects into the crowd of spectators. Violators are subject to ejection from the parade. You may hand out objects or literature to one person at a time. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed in the parade or in the parade staging area. Persons deemed to be visibly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate in the parade.
